We all move at the same speed
|If you speed up in space, then time slows down to compensate. If you are standing still, then time is travelling at 100% of its speed. No matter how fast you may be travelling, the speed of time will balance the equation. Thus, we are all travelling at the same speed in space-time, but with different proportions speed in time and space.
It’s like travelling north-east. If I travel north, then my easterly direction is zero. If I travel due east, then my northerly direction is at zero. If I travel exactly north-east, then both are at 50%. So we are all traveling at the speed of light, but with different proportions of space and time.
