Geocentrism vs Heliocentrism
Why is this even a debate in this day and age of spacecraft, satellites, Antarctic exploration, international air travel, and extensive navigation of the Southern Ocean. It seems despite all these, many people are adopting the view that the Earth is flat.
Certainly from our own perspective which is created by our brain upon receiving vibrations or frequencies from the spectrum etc, we perceive the Earth as generally being flat. The reason is that the Earth is too big for us to see the curve of course. Imagine an eternal circle, its circumference is actually a straight line. So now imagine an almost eternal circle or giant circle as big as the Earth, it too appears to us as a straight line or flat disc. But when we zoom out or travel outward, the bigger shape of the Earth starts to emerge.
And the fact that the Earth orbits the Sun is another thing we don’t experience directly. What we observe is the sun doing a circuit from sunrise to sunset. We also see the moon do a similar thing, and the stars appear to sit in a giant dome above the Earth. And the fact that the sun and moon appear as the exact same size only fuels the idea that they are two lights that circuit the Flat Earth rather than The Sun being 400 times bigger than the Sun, with the moon about 400 times closer. The problem is that most have never personally experienced these facts directly, leadings some to think that the Globe Earth is a conspiracy. Never mind why some would want us to believe in a globe earth if it weren’t, but let’s focus on a simple observation that proves the earth is globe shaped.
Back in Antiquity, the Earth was thought be to be flat. We looked up into the heavens and saw the circuit of the stars. They changed in the seasons but they had predictable circuits. However, there was a problem. Some of the stars moved erratically, moving forward in circular patterns, then sometime appearing to change direction by stopping and going backward for a time. These were called ‘Wandering Stars’ a good descriptive term. Of course, today we now know that Wandering Stars are planets, like the Earth that orbit our star the Sun. If ever you wanted a simple piece of evidence that you could ask a Flat Earther to test for themselves, this one is it. Just ask them to explain why the circuit of Wandering Stars is erratic or complex in the Geocentric model and become regular and obvious in the Heliocentric model.

Now look what happens when you assume the wandering stars and Earth orbit the Sun. Pure simplicity. And why would Wandering Stars orbits look so simple in the Heliocentric model if the Geocentric Model were the correct one. Obviously, it would be a too huge coincidence right?
Of course there is a ton of other ways you could prove the globe Earth to a Flat Earther, but they will mostly not listen to you because they believe in a giant conspiracy involving NASA etc. So a photo or composite is not going to convince them. I believe Wandering Stars is a good way to show them the truth as it is something they can research and workout for themselves with no excuse for fakery, just their own observations which they seem to trust more than anything.
