Einstein’s Big Idea

Albert Einstein came to the startling conclusion that mass and energy are one. This is the story behind his famous equation E = mc2. It started with Michael Faraday’s discovery of electrical energy followed by discoveries from James Clerke Maxwell, Antoine Lavoisier, Emilie du Chatelet , and Lise Meitner in what Einstein would later call ‘The Great Revolution’.
